Write a reviewI wouldn't have tried this top but stylist Jane at the KW Studio suggested I try a range of tops in Almond Peach (a truly lovely warm light neutral) to bring some lightness into my Deep Autumn summer wardrobe. This one was the winner. The fabric and colour work together to give a beautiful elevated top for warm days - so much nicer than the every day t-shirts that I have been buying. I am very petite but found the size XS a nice fit - with drape but not excessively large. The v neck line is very wearable.
Great replacement to the Cara T-Shirt. Some more colours please and notification when they are out would be great too. This is a staple in my wardrobe. Just need to bring back the equivilent in the long sleeve or 3/4 would be even better.
Lovely top - can see it getting lots of use in the coming months and the back yoke is great - stops the top being clingy around the bra line but still fits wonderfully. I opted for a size L based on other comments and I agree it runs slightly large. Glad I did as I would realistically be between the L and LL from a size chart perspective. The L fits perfectly. I'm a 38DD and high street 14/16 depending on brand if that helps anyone with sizing thoughts.
Thank you, Kettlewell for granting my Wishlist Wednesday request (Kettlewell Colour Club) for a Navy Cara style Tee. Although the gorgeous silky feeling new fabric of Mara elevates this to more of a top! I also prefer the slightly shorter length - perfect for this short-bodied 5’4’’ Inverted Triangle. In all other aspects, the fit feels the same as my favourite Cara V. I’m a high street 14-16 (bust) and have stuck with my usual size L. Very pleased. 😊
Purchased the Mara top in Neptune Blue and Dark Olive. The fabric is beautiful - soft and flows beautifully over the body. It is a lovely top that looks more professional than a fitted T-shirt. Both colours were stunning. Washed well and could get away with not ironing.
Finally a shirt that does not cling! More of these please. I will buy every color in my season!
I tried this as a replacement for my beloved Caras.The fabric feels more silky and has a sheen to it and feel it is more suitable for evening wear.The sizing is the same,I always size down in Cara from L to M and had to do the same with Mara. The lemon grass colour is lovely for autumns
