How to measure

We want your clothes to feel comfortable, so avoid pulling the tape measure too tight. You might find it easier to get someone else to hold the tape measure in the right place.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust

Waist: Measure around your natural waist – above your belly button but below your ribcage

Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips – about 9in below your waist

Fit definitions

To help you choose the style that suits you best, we have sorted our tops into three categories - Fitted, Regular and Relaxed.

These are shown in the Product Details box on each product page. To help you decide which fit is best for you, please consult this diagram:

fitted_AW24_a.jpg

Fitted

Designed and fitted to hug the body from shoulders to hem. The sleeves are also fitted to be snug on the arm. The armhole will be snug against your body. If you do not want a slim fitting shape, please size up.

regular_AW24_a.jpg

Regular Fit

Designed and fitted to skim the body, following the natural shape, without being snug. Sleeves will usually skim the arms. The armhole will be snug against your body. Please note that if your body measurements are larger than your size from the above table, a regular fit style will fit tighter in this area so you may wish to size up, or if you prefer a neater fit sizing down will help.

relaxed_AW24_b.jpg

Relaxed Fit

Designed and fitted to flow loosely around you. Shoulders will usually be slightly dropped – sitting beyond the widest point. Sleeve shape will generally be looser. The body width will generally be 1/2 to one size larger than a regular fit.

Oversized Fit

Designed and fitted to be wider and often without shaping. Shoulders will be dropped and sleeves will often be slimmer to counter balance the body.

The body widths will generally be more than 3 sizes larger than a regular fit.

Neck Shapes

neckline_mock.jpg

Mock Neck – the seam at the neckline will sit snug all around the neck, with a shallow collar piece that will hug the neck.

neckline_square.jpg

Square Neck – the neckline will be as wide as deep, but with clear corners to create a square effect.

neckline_notchneck.jpg

Notch Neck – This is usually a crew or high scoop shape with a neat V cut out at the centre. Great for showing off a statement pendant.

neckline_roll.jpg

Roll Neck – the seam at the neckline will sit snug all around the neck, with a deep collar piece that will hug the neck.

neckline_v.jpg

V Neck – The width and depth of our V necks vary from style to style, some may be high and narrow, and some deep to show a little decolletage.

neckline_crossover.jpg

Crossover – This is created by the front body being in 2 parts, with an often low neckline as it joins the side seam under the bust. These styles can be adjusted to sit slightly higher or lower, but those not wishing to show decolletage may wish to wear a cami underneath.

neckline_crew_b.jpg

Crew Neck – the stereotypical t-shirt neck shape, the side points of the neck will sit away from the base of your neck and the front will sit on or slightly below the points of your collar bones (suprasternal notch).

neckline_scoop.jpg

Scoop Neck – a scoop neck shape will be wider and deeper than the crew neck. It can sit anywhere from an inch or so below your collar bone points (semi scoop) but will generally not show any cleavage.

neckline_slash_boat.jpg

Slash or Boat Neck – a high and wide neckline. The front neck will sit on or above the points of you collar bones.

neckline_cowl.jpg

Cowl Neck – The front body is cut in such a way to create a soft, often deep, draped effect. Some styles may have an inner layer to cover the decollotage, others may not and will show it. The ‘edge’ of the neckline is folded to allow the fabric to drape, and can be adjusted to sit slightly higher or lower. The edge of the fold will be finished with a simple overlocked stitch as a binding or other finish will show.

Sleeve Lengths

  • Sleeveless – with no sleeves!
  • Short – Mid bicep and higher
  • Half Sleeve – Sitting just above the elbow
  • ¾ Sleeve – Sitting halfway between elbow and wrist
  • Bracelet Length – Sitting just above the wrist
  • Full Length – sitting below the wrist bone, often extending onto the hand.

How to measure for men

Shoulder: Measure at the top of the shoulder, where the armhole seam of a T shirt would sit, across your back

Chest: Measure around your chest, just under your armpits

Fit definition
