Styling the Geri print for Summers
The Summer palette is cool, light, and muted, and we’ve carried that look through our tonal (varying shades of similar colours) Summer Geri print. The overall feel of purple gives us an easy starting point for creating outfits, rather than trying to pull several colours from the print into the rest of the outfit.
The Geri Skirt is a really simple but pretty shape, with an A-line flippy feel, but not so much fabric that it feels over the top. The top is a summer cap sleeved crossover with flattering ruching at the waist, making it hugely forgiving over a tummy area you’re feeling less than confident about.
Style notes: I’ve kept this look fairly tonal, with a mixture of depths, as in the print, preventing the outfit from looking high contrast. I love how the colours of this print seem to blend into one harmonious whole when styled like this.
Style notes: The pretty Lilac Pink Ruched Halterneck worn alone with the skirt would make for a beautiful party outfit for summertime, but the deep Royal Purple and the metallic belt add a finishing touch and keep it cool-weather-ready.
Style notes: When wearing the full co-ord as a dress, You could pull out colours from the print, or add a splash of brightness, but I’ve gone for some added interest with high contrast Glacier and Ice Blue, to give a look that’s slightly more high impact than the usual tonal Summer look.
