A bit spendier than I normally do for a cotton cardigan, and I was rather hoping for a price break, but the reason I gave it five stars for value is, I have never found any cotton/natural fiber cardigan which works the way this one does. There's always something off about the ones I've tried, or they wear out after one season of washing and wearing, or they make me look dumpy when worn with jeans, or the sleeves are too fitted to properly layer a long-sleeved top under, or the buttons don't look good (I know, I can change the buttons, but these are nicely dyed to match), or the fabric is too thin, it doesn't fit on the hips or bust, etc. The Cosmo manages to tick all of my boxes. I'm now between size small and medium in KW and I got size medium here (size 10-12, 32E, average shoulders and arm length). French Violet is a beautiful purple for this Summer (self-diagnosed). I also purchased Smokey Teal (lovely medium blue-green just right!) and Buttercream which is coded for Springs/Autumns but it works for me too. I would welcome this item in more colours please!

I purposely went out and searched for other cotton cardigans ..... Could I find cheaper? Yes. Was the quality compatible? Not quite. So, what does this prove? If you are looking for a quick throw on cardie to wear at the beach, or over a tee to collect the children from school ..... Perhaps look elsewhere. If you are hoping for something with more gravitas to wear at church, to the office, over a pretty dress for dinner .... This is the one. The fit is on the large side. I am a busty UK size 6/8 (US Size 2/4) and on this one, the Size S is going back to be exchanged for an XS. It is also a little long but the bottom ribbing brings it in to fit on the waist so your future does remain defined. If you plan to "twin-set" with the matching sweater then go for your usual size. The colour "Cherry" is a fantastic shade for a Cool Summer with Winter tendencies. I wore the cardie to work over a navy shift dress, navy heels, red leather tote ..... Received two lovely and welcome compliments. One lady suspected that it was a ..... "£250 cardie from ******* of London" ..... She was delighted when I went over to her computer and pulled up the Kettlewell site! I will be returning for another in a different shade for cooler Summer days.

I tried this on my visit to the studio. I wouldn't have tried it otherwise, but needless to say I loved it. have now ordered the Cherry one as there were only 6 left on stock and I didn't want to lose it. I was waiting for a sale on these knitted cotton garments but I don't think this is going to happen unfortunately. I felt it was quite expensive for a cardigan. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it will be.

I am loving this cardi for autumn. Violet goes well with my everyday T in hyacinth (?) and also my silky crew in similar colour from years ago. Size OK but, as usual, sleeves too long - in this style it is fine to fold back the cuffs.

Having sold all my merino knitwear I was keen to buy a cotton cardigan, but I’m afraid this one was unremarkable. With only 2 colours to choose from for winters I went for the Cherry red because I thought I’d wear it more often than the acid yellow, but it didn’t lie too well on the front V, I wasn’t keen on the red and it was quite expensive so I returned it.

Have been eagerly awaiting this cardigan since the sneak peak.I love the colour and fabric and the fit is perfect.It will go with lots of my clothes including the autumn Camille skirt.Would love it in lots more colours please.

Currently my favourite ever cardigan! (And I have quite a few.) The fabric feels soft, it hangs nicely around the neck (either open or done up) and the length is just right for a maxi skirt or jeans. But mostly I absolutely love the vintage rose colour.
